Salon Treatment Home style

OK- well this post is a little off-track from what I write normally- but I wanted to share this with my readers..

Here is the recipe for an excellent hair treatment for all those who have thinning/balding/hairloss problems with your crowning glory. My aunt-in-law who is a beautician prescribed it for me and in a single try I could see its effectiveness..

1. Soak 2 spoons of Fenugreek seeds in some water the previous night.
2.On D-Day, apply either Gingelly oil or coconut oil liberally to you hair and scalp- and by liberally, I mean LIBERALLY
3. You will need to hunt for a couple of handfuls of hibiscus leaves, get about a fistful of grated coconut, 2 small onions peeled and quartered. If you can get a couple of amlas, remove seed and quarter
4.Grind together the soaked fenugreek, hibiscus leaves, coconut grating and onions (and amla if available) with very very little water inot a very very smooth paste
5. Apply it to your hair and scalp all over and allow it to semi-dry. Go about your regular work in the meantime
6. Wash off with good Shikakai (Reetha) powder. Avoid the use of shampoo as it strips your hair of the natural goodness the pack would impart.

The fenugreek, Gingelly oil and the amla and onions have a cooling effect on the scalp and the Hibiscus leaves are a natural conditioner.

Repeat at least twice a week, and ensure you towel dry of air dry you hair- DO NOT use a hair dryer.

After days together, my hair feels like it ought to feel!! I intend to invest as much time as I can spare in repeating this regularly to reap the rewards completely!!
